WHEN YOU ARE IN ROME: At the very beginning we would like to advise You to be careful and keep an eye on Your bags, wallets and other valuable things when You are in crowded places (at the bus, metro, in the queue etc.). If possible, avoid to approach too close to strangers. Before you sit down and order in the bar or in the restaurant in very touristic places, always check if is included any extra payment and what would be the cost of the service at the table. Vatican Museums: the best time for a visit without reservation is in the afternoon. The opening time is from 9.00 to 18.00 (Ticket Office from 9.00 to 16.00) from Monday to Saturday. On Sunday Vatican Museums are closed, except on the last Sunday in the month (unless in the case of Catholic holiday) from 9.00 to 12.30, when entrance is free of charge.
